  Rather than taking part into a large group tour, less expensive than private visits, our small group tours, with a maximum of eight participants, will allow you to share your experience with other discerning travelers and will give you a chance to communicate easily and constantly with your guide.

I recommend WalksInsideFlorence to anyone that wants to understand what you are seeing and where it fits into history. Besides prioritizing what you see to what is most interesting (there is only so much you can see in 3-4 hours) it was an interactive history lesson that really put everything in context.

The tour was well paced and interesting for both the parents and the teenagers, not an easy task. As we had hoped, this was a great way to start a four day Venice adventure. The guide was a local Venetian with unlimited knowledge. She encouraged any question, either related to the itinerary or not.
