Eight Days in Normandy, France:
Is about experiencing a very special part of Europe in a totally unique and fulfilling way;
your very own “home away from home.”
It is within this comforting environment a small group of people come together to immerse themselves in a different culture and lifestyle and focus on life’s simple pleasures, at a very relaxed pace.
Our guests get a first hand glimpse into the daily lives of the French, not available to the general public and an opportunity to live French history and traditions.
This truly is a different and memorable small group experience in France.
Normandy!
Renowned for charming, quaint half-timbered houses, verdant green pastures, and apple orchards, where culinary tradition evolves from amazing local products: butter, cream, and of course...apples! Also famous for its cheese, cider, and Calvados brandy. It boasts a 360-mile dramatic coastline, including the powerfully provocative World War II landing beaches, an interior of lush farmland, bustling market towns, and historic landmarks such as the cities of Caen, Bayeux, Falaise, and Rouen. The "Pays d'Auge" is located in Normandy, and exudes rich historic and architectural heritage.
The local Monday market in St Pierre sur Dives simply can't be missed. The whole area is a food lover's and cultural paradise, from the local cheeses, pastries, and Calvados, to the many historical sites which are within easy reach.
Vieux Pont-en-Auge
Is one of the most peaceful and pretty villages in Calvados, famous for its attractive half-timbered buildings, the local manoir, and its 1,000 year old church.

The village is set on a small hill overlooking miles of countryside. It is exceptionally peaceful yet only a short drive from a bustling town or the coast.

Michael and Carole currently live in Miami, Florida.
They both love travelling, but in a leisurely manner. Throughout the past several years, they have organized and accompanied many groups through experiences in Italy, France, and other destinations in Europe.
They fell in love with the Pays D'Auge region of Normandy, and have returned several times since their first visit. Their good fortune led them to meet a warm and wonderful family at whose "gites" they always stayed. It was a natural progression to create this vacation experience in Normandy.

Alex was born in Paris, France. She decided to move to Normandy where she met her English partner Jim, and they now have a little girl called Molly.
"We are aware how lucky we are to live in Normandy, as we really enjoy all its aspects; the seaside, the lovely local markets, the walks that are just fantastic in our area. And as we like our food and drink... it's just perfect too!"

Childhood sweethearts David and Sue were married 45 years ago, and have three children, and five grandchildren. Having holidayed every year in France, they always wanted to retire to France, and by chance found their dream home, a Farmhouse with three outbuildings 20 years ago.
