Tuscany Culinary Workshop“The Colors of the Kitchen” with Enrico Casini In this workshop you will learn about Italian Culinary Arts from Master Chef and wine expert,Enrico Casini. In 1985, Enrico was awarded as one of the seven “Best Chefs of Italy under 35”. For six years Enrico authored Guide to the Restaurants of Italy. Have you ever thought, “If I was stranded on a desert island with only one bottle of wine, what would it be?” Enrico can help you with your answer! Enrico’s genius is not limited to the kitchen. He is a wine aficionado, a trusted expert that has contributed his knowledge as the original author of the Guide to the Wines of Italy and has served as a wine consultant to many restaurants throughout Italy. You will spend two weeks with Enrico's undivided attention while he teaches you the secrets of cooking passed down from generation to generation, including Italian and Tuscan cuisine. You will also be delighted by the addition of Stefano Zampieri, a renown Italian artist. Stefano will join Enrico in the kitchen to demonstrate painting with organic pigments made from food! When you are ready to get out of the kitchen and see the wondrous sites of Tuscany, we have adventures planned just for you! During this workshop you will also see Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino and some fantastic coastal towns such as Orbetello, Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole. Enrico will not only be your teacher, but also your host as he takes you on a very personal tour of his farm on the coast, where his wines are produced. You will be able to sample his very personal creations, including the estate grown and bottled: Poggio, Cillegio, Maremmino and Rotulaia wine for which Enrico is famous. You do not have to be an experienced cook or painter to enjoy and learn from the two masters leading this workshop. All levels of experience in the kitchen and on the canvas are welcomed. You can cook and paint or just cook. It's totally up to you! This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to combine your love of cooking, painting and seeing some very special places in Tuscany, all in one unforgettable trip!
