Lovely bed and breakfast near the town of Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux wine region.

la petite girondine was a lovely chambre d'hote ; French for b & b. This b & b is off the beaten track near Saint-Emilion in the town of St. Philippe D'Aiguilhe. Christine and Gerard Lecomte are warm gracious hosts.

The rooms are spacious with beautiful eclectic details, sitting areas, and brand new modern bathrooms. The shower was just wonderful and so invigorating. Breakfast every morning was french pressed coffee, home baked breads and cakes made by Christine herself, yogurt, fruit, and anything else you might want I am sure.

Our room was 60 euros and just lovely. There is a pool for swimming but it was October when we were there. We couldn't have stayed at better place and we highly recommend this chambre d'hote to everyone. We loved it. Lots of books, magazines, lovely interior and exterior sitting areas.
