Charming B&B and Hostess in a quiet village 20 minutes drive from Nice and the French Riviera.

Stayed here for three nights during the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix weekend. Ideally situated if you don't want to be on the beach on in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and yet an easy twenty minute drive will get you to the Promenade in Nice.

Beatrice, the hostess goes out of the way to make you feel at home and comfortable and Maya the dog adds to the charm and ambience without being in the way.

The rooms (small like usual French B&B rooms) are so private and yet well situated that you could be at your home. The common area which includes microwave, fridge, TV, etc., and your own private 'sit-out' makes it ideal if you want to pick up food and eat at home and even entertain friends which we did. Beatrice charmed them, too, and made them feel at home.

The only limitations would be that a) you will need a car b)the place was difficult to find the first time. We don't use GPS but had good maps and directions from the website -directions could do with more work. :-)

The cost was E70/night double for 3 night (otherwise E75/night) including generous breakfast - a steal for Cannes Film Festival/Monaco Car Race weekend when everything on the Riviera was priced up.
