Egreville: B&B Les Deux Noyers

Nice stop on your way to or from Paris.

If you are looking for a lovely place to stay as a jumping off point to or from Paris (less than one hour from either airport), try the Les Deux Noyers near the village of Egreville.

We stayed two nights in the converted stable portion of the B&B, which was nicely renovated, but a bit dark. It was a very long room with two small windows at the front. There are also several other B&B bedrooms, which we did not see.

Our family room was large with two twin beds and a double bed. The bathroom was creatively added, so the arrangement seems strange at first, but it worked quite well. The shower was new and there was plenty of hot water.

The B&B is arranged around a large courtyard, and breakfast is served outside if the weather is fine. You may also have dinner, with prior reservations. Our dinner was excellent and included apertifs, a quiche, duck confit and roasted potatoes, and a flan. Copious wine was poured throughout dinner.

The owner, Jean-Pierre Latscha is charming and helpful. He speaks english well.
