Convenient, modern and economical hotel located right at the Marseille airport. Ideal for an early morning departure. {3 stars}

We spent one night at the Best Western at the Marseille Airport on April 1, 2006, prior to an 8 am flight the next morning.

The hotel is located right at the airport. We dropped off our bag at the hotel and returned our rental car, then walked less than ten minutes to the hotel. We could have called for the hotel shuttle, but we thought the exercise would be good for us. In the morning we took the shuttle over to the airport... maybe a three minute ride. The shuttle services begins at 5 am.

This is a modern multi-story hotel. The room was small but clean and well-equipped (including in-room coffee service). The hotel staff was pleasant and offered us a free International Herald Tribune. I got a 62 euro special internet rate, which I thought was very reasonable. There is a restaurant on-site, which we didn't try. The breakfast is 10 euro additional, but given our early morning flight, we didn't try that either.

This is an ideal location if you have an early morning flight out of Marseille.
