Casa Pairal is a small {3 star} hotel with 28 rooms. It is ideally situated near the beach and within an easy walk of the town's numerous restaurants and cafes.

We had a very nice stay at Casal Pairal. We had two rooms in the main house on the top floor. The rooms were air conditioned (thank goodness!) and well furnished, though the matresses are very firm.

The hotel is very well situated and in a quiet location. The garden and pool areas were lush and cool. Breakfast can be served ensuite or in the garden. Breakfast was not included in our rate, and we chose not to spend the 10 euros per person, since there are several cafes nearby that served good continental breakfast for only 5-6 euros.

The best rooms are those with a balcony overlooking the garden. Though I would certainly stay at Casal Pairal again, I would try to book one of the rooms with balcony.

Collioure is very, very popular with the French, British and northern Europeans looking for sun and sea. If you want to visit this town and get the best room, you are advised to book well in advance.
