Sophisticated, beautiful property that enchants the senses and rests the soul!

Beautiful Domaine du Moulin, photo by

We enjoyed the Juliette room overlooking the front of the Moulin and terrace.

The old water mill is from the 13th century and sits upon the river Nizon which flows underneath the house during all seasons. This property is sophisticated and furnished with lovely Dutch/French design that was both soothing and tastefully done.

The Dutch breakfast was absolutely delicious. Truthfully, the property is so restful and cared for (there is even a beautiful swimming pool) that each morning we were torn with sightseeing or just relaxing.

Antoinette, our hostess and owner, is a thoroughly delightful and knowledgeable hostess. Because we lingered so long over breakfast, she dubbed us the "Breakfast Club."

It was an easy drive to Avignon ... and in fact, we visited many Provence cities (Uzes, Saint Remy de Provence, Isle sur la Sorgue, even Apt, La Costa, Gordes, Fontaine de Vauclause)) and used this as our base for four days.

We would return in a heartbeat.
