Not like the pictures on their website! We had our choice of two rooms and both were dirty and shabby. Wouldn't return!
We stayed here because we were visiting Vaux-le-Vicomte and were going to the airport (Roissy-Charles de Gaulle) the next morning. The location was convenient, if a bit hard to find. However...
We arrived and were shown the room that we had requested from the info online. It was very small, dusty and not very clean, and poorly furnished. Since there were no other guests, the proprietor offered us another, larger room for the same price, 65 euros. We looked at that, and because we needed to organize our luggage, we accepted this room. It too was shabby and not very clean, especially the area around the small kitchen.
We looked for somewhere to eat in the area. There was one pricy restaurant in the town (about 120 euros for 2), and we were advised to go to a smaller town about 10K away for a casual meal. It was a pizza place with very poor food ... you can get a lousy meal in France, although it is rare!
It was a most unfortunate end to a vacation and I definitely wouldn't stay here again. Try Ferme D'Orsonville instead (which opened in Jan 2008 and is MUCH nicer!)
PS. We travel in France regularly and this B&B was one of only two that I've reviewed negatively. They're usually great!
