Excellent location near Blvd St. Germain and Rue du Bac, extremely helpful staff.

My husband was already booked here for a trip when I decided to join him for a few days beforehand. It's pricier than our usual hotels (rates begin around 230).

The location is fabulous, right at the intersection of Blvd Raspail, Blvd St. Germain and Rue du Bac. The Rue du Bac metro entrance is just outside the door.

Our 5th floor room had a surprising and lovely view of Sacre Coeur in the distance. Although it's described as a boutique hotel and the bathrooms are updated and feature heated floors, our Executive Double did not stand out for its decor. The bed, however, was extremely comfortable.

The staff was extraordinarily helpful. We booked most of our restaurants before leaving the U.S. But when we needed a suggestion, they not only made phone calls, but always provided Google map printouts with directions.

On our final day, I discovered my husband had left some important prescription medication in the room - he had departed for another destination in France and I was returning to Chicago. The front desk staff went out of their way to try FedEx and, when that didn't work, sent someone to La Poste twice to get the necessary papers and send the package.

I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if the price was right.
