Saint Sernin du Plain: Le Clos de l'Abbaye

Chemin des charrières

Wonderful large home containing 2 B&B rooms and a great gite.

This is a lovely old wine maker's home beautifully restored to highest standards for the bedrooms. They are large and well appointed with nice baths. It's a great gite - we also stayed there 6 years ago (written up separately). It is in a quaint village near Beaune and nicely located to tour Burgundy and the wine region. There are wineries to tour right in town.

Vero is a great hostess and provides a nice breakfast. They have a small vineyard as well and bottle a good Pinot wine for sale. The sites below the home are beautiful to sit and look at. We paid 69E for an evening!! Well worth it for the lovely room appointments and hostess.
