Clean, quiet, and very well located small hotel. {2 stars}

The Nice Garden Hotel is a family-run, two-star hotel located a few blocks up from the Promenade des Anglais. There are only nine rooms and they all open onto a lovely garden where, in good weather, breakfast is served. Our Superior room (110€) was a good size, very clean and the double bed was comfortable. The lighting was adequate for reading at night.

Pros: The location - A short walk to the Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna. Within walking distance of the Gare Routière (bus station), Old Nice and the train station (SNCF). Near a multitude of restaurants.

Quietness - Accessed with a digicode, the hotel is located at the back of the building. Also, the garden serves as a buffer from the traffic noise on the side street. The walls between the rooms are thick enough to cut the sound coming from other rooms. It's all very quiet.

The owner and staff - They are very courteous and always ready to help.

Cons: None

We will return if we're ever in Nice again.
