Best B&B experience in France for us. A great stay in a beautiful setting and great hosts.

We made a return visit to this B&B this year and if anything it was even better than before. Jean Claude and Francoise make you feel welcome the minute you walk in. The rooms are each a different color and beautifully decorated and spotless. There are 6 rooms (4 with fabulous valley views). The green one is our favorite. There is a nice front porch on which you can enjoy the view and a drink. After dark they will light about 50 candles which makes the whole scene magical. Francoise I teasingly call the Martha Stewart of France. She is a perfectionist and works very hard to make the guests very comfortable.

Breakfasts are served in the beautiful dining room with views. Juice is fresh squeezed. Breakfast is different each day but consists of yogurt, homemade pastries, fresh fruit,breads, coffee or tea,homemade jellies, and whatever delicious egg or french toast item Francoise if preparing that day.

The home (within walking distance of Beynac castle) is perfect for visiting the area which has so much to offer (Sarlat, Castelnaud, La Roque-Gageac to name a few). You will need a car to explore, though.
