Absolutely the BEST place for quality and value at the port level in Bonifacio!

Directions: At the port level in Bonifacio. A "sister" restaurant, the very popular Cantina Doris, is in the haut-ville.

This review refers to Cantina Grill at the port level of Bonifacio. It is owned and run by the same family responsible for the well-known Cantina Doria in the haut-ville. We had dinner at the Cantina Grill on Friday, October 5, 2012 and planned to go the Cantina Doria the next evening. Bur Cantina Doria is closed on Saturdays, at least at this time of year. So we returned to Cantina Grill on Saturday, Oct. 6. ALL of the other restaurants at the port level in Bonifacio (est. 12-15) were empty or near-empty. Cantina Grill was full.

Both meals were very good and excellent value (€20 formule – entrée, plat, dessert.) A highlight for me both evening was the soup. The first evening was a vegetable soup with charcuterie and the second evening was fish soup.

Cantina Grill/Doria are two of the best things about Bonifacio.
