Ultra-modern and trendy bar/restaurant with Fabulous panoramic views of Paris

To get to Georges, you enter via an elevator on the outside of the Centre. We didn't know this ... until we saw the signs *inside*! The elevator guards were friendly enough (we won them over with our school-girl French :) ) and sent us on our way up to the restaurant on the 6th floor.

Several escalator rides later - with increasingly great views over the city as we climbed - we arrived at the restaurant entrance. It was a sunny late afternoon so we considered sitting at one of the tables on the large patio, but there was a brisk wind so instead we sat inside at a corner table. Only a few other tables were taken, as timing-wise it was late for lunch and early for dinner.

The stark and futuristic decor was quite fitting, as the real focus was on the incredible views out of the floor to ceiling windows.

We ordered champagne and wine, and were served promptly. We enjoyed a relaxing hour or so admiring the view, and plotting our next adventure in the city. Recommended for an elegant splurge.
