Beautifully situated on the bank of the river lot. Excellent food, good value for money, friendly staff

Directions: Situated just outside Ste Livrade-sur-lot just before you get to the D911 junction (Route de Bourdeaux)

La Source" is a lovely old stone building, refurbished and converted into a restaurant to a very high standard and sits in a beautiful position next to the river Lot. The food is very well presented and of excellent quality, all at very reasonable prices. The staff are extremely accomodating and some of them speak very good English. You should telephone in advance to reserve a table at busy times during the summer season, ( 05 53 01 36 84 ) but at other times, you should not need to. La Source is a restaurant for all the family but I think particularly suitable for those wanting a romantic meal for two. You may sit on the raised Terrace overlooking the river and watch the sunset through the trees as you enjoy your sumptuous meal.
