Excellent traditional French cuisine, PLUS, it's in one of listed "plus beaux villages de France"

Great service, quick, efficient, friendly.

Plus it is smack in the middle of the Loire valley, near several major castles and other "plus beaux villages"…

Plus it is neatly the midpoint on your drive between Paris and Dordogne…

Plus on good weather, you can have a table in the garden in front of Lavardin's beautiful gothic 8-arch stone bridge.

Plus the 3-course menu is only 26 euro.

The only minus is the interior of the restaurant, which really cannot be described as cheerful.

Therefore try to lunch there on a nice day when you can enjoy the garden terrace.
