4bed/3bath apartment near Boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris WhenJune 2005, 2 weeks LocationThe apartment is situated in a small quiet street near the Boulevard Saint-Michel and the Boulevard Saint-Germain. The building is 3 minutes to Place de l’Odéon and Métro Odéon. Nearby AmenitiesThere are a lot of outdoor cafés, boutiques, restaurants, and renowned bakeries and pastry shops. The House/ApartmentThe building was in very good shape. We were staying in the French second floor, (American third). There are 2 apartments per floor and 3 floors. The apartment is very quiet since it is in a very small street with only a few cars. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe furniture was in very good shape, the apartment was cleaned before our arrival and after our departure. In general a very nice apartment, quiet, comfortable with DSL and cable TV. Bedrooms/BathroomsThere were enough bathrooms, one near to the entrance and the 2 other ones in the main bedrooms. Problems or BonusesAll was perfect and I hired a driver recommended by them and he was very nice he helped us with our luggage. Agency and Representatives (and price)The agency staff was very nice and pleasant. They gave you several choices for your dates. When you arrive at the apartment, a France Homestyle representative or the owner give you the keys and shows you the flat and how to use the dishwasher, TV, phone. The place was as it was described on their website. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others? We loved the area and the quiet. I would go through France Homestyle again to rent a flat in Paris and would also recommend it to all of my friends. Things to do in this areaThe apartment is located near the covered market Marché St. Germain. It’s a pleasant short walk to the Jardin du Luxembourg, a famous sixty-acre park. A few blocks away, near the Seine, are the Musée d’Orsay and Musée Rodin. Across the river, there is Ile de La Cité with St. Chapelle and Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens.
