2bed/2bath apartment in 7th arrondissement, Paris

Location

Central location in 7th arrondissment. Three minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Ten minute walk to metro. Quiet appartment in a nice area.

Nearby Amenities

Lots of restaurants nearby. Ten minute walk to grocery store (there is also a tiny store close to the apartment), 10 minute walk to rue Cler, great food market. Two minute walk to pharmacy.

The House/Apartment

Typical and well kept Parisian building with iron balcony (from where you can see the Eiffel Tower). Very quiet at night. Wonderful living room with nice areas for eating and sitting. One bedroom is "walk through" to get to the master bedroom, but no problem with this. Beautiful furnishings and draperies. Thoughtful layout for hanging/storing clothes etc. We were two adults and two teenagers, and we loved it.

Garden

Balcony with Eiffel Tower view.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Very clean, very pretty, very comfortable. We really felt that we lived in a nice French home!

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Small but clean and practical bathrooms, very comfortable beds with high quality linens.

Kitchen

Small but practical, well equipped. We cooked a four-course dinner after shopping for ingredients and wine in rue Cler - wonderful!

Problems or Bonuses

Thorough instructions for everything, and a comprehensive collection of information about things to do, plus shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Internet access for your own PC. DVD's, books and music in the apartment.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Very helpful staff, meeting you on arrival to go through the apartment. Very responsive agencey concerning booking and responding to questions.

Yes.

Things to do in this area

Rue Cler market is a must, as well as the Eiffel Tower (walk over at dusk, to see the sun going down and to avoid the long lines).
