We stayed at Le Ferme du Petit Souper (La Barauderie) for three nights in September and thoroughly enjoyed it! Karen Kenady and Craig Cantor rent out two rennovated stone houses on their property (also Le Havre) and both are lovely.

Ours was very private with lovely outdoor areas for eating and reading, (nice furniture, no plastic). The house has one bedroom and a loft, with a large bathroom complete with a walk in tiled shower. The bedroom has a king sized bed with cotton linens and comforter, an armoire with plenty of hangers and French windows that look out to the fields and the forest. The kitchen is outfitted well, the living room comfy with a fireplace. The house is tastefully furnished with a nice mix of antiques, and is very bright inside.

Just down the country lane is their house and Le Havre, and a lap pool for guests to use. The house is located between Pontlevoy and Montrichard and there are always French markets to shop at so one can feel like a local. Plenty of Chateau, great biking and walking, and lots of villages to explore make this a super base for the area. We loved it and felt right at home!
