Review 2623: Rentvillas, Ile Saint Louis 2

Review by Abigail from CA

1bed/1bath apartment in 4th arrondissement, Paris

February 2007, 1 week

This was a wonderful apartment in one of the oldest parts of Paris, centrally located on Ile St Louis. It was a completely updated and renovated apartment, with extra security in a beautiful historic apartment building.

Nearby Amenities

The location simply can't be beat. There are so, so many restaurants, shopping areas, museums, and entertainment options within a very easy walking radius. And the metro is just a simple to get to as well.

The House/Apartment

It is on the fifth floor of a historic building, and has original French doors down the extent of the space, opening to small private 'mini balconies.' Thankfully there is a lift!

The building is secured with a password protected gate/door, and the lift requires a second password - it's very, very secure. Also, the whole building is very clean.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, and equipped with the most modern appliances, a washer/dryer, a high speed connection, even a towel warmer.

The French doors open all to mini balconies offering wonderful breezes. The apartment is located on the fifth floor.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture was clean and in great shape. Plenty of seating, very comfortable.

The bedroom was great. Not only was the bed comfortable, the linens were nice and crisp. The bathroom is very updated with a fantastic shower. There's even a towel warmer and a washer/dryer.

The kitchen has been completely updated and is perfectly functional.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

I would recommend the agency! I dealt with Barbara at Rentvillas. You should check the prices and pictures on their site.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I'd stay there again, I'd have my family stay there, I'd recommend it to my best friend. The Rentvillas site accurately represents this location - I would recommend it in a heartbeat! My husband and I just had a grand time.

Things to do in this area

So, so many wonderful things to do. One to note was a fantastic (FANTASTIC) Moroccan restaurant called '404'. When you've had enough French food, do this! Also, a travel book called Eat. Shop. Paris. had just great recommendations.
