Studio apartment in 7th arrondissement, Paris

Location

This studio is in Saint-Germain des Pres, a superb location just a few steps from Ponte Neuf. We always loved Saint-Germain and wanted to stay there since we ate inside and it was the best area to be in with all its shops, markets, etc.

Nearby Amenities

Tons of groceries, stores, cafes and restaurants just at your front door.

The House/Apartment

This studio is small, as its owner called "A love nest." I am not sure about it since we were at our 35 years wedding anniversary but I am sure that it was a very comfortable place for two people with a lovely little kitchen across a big bed.

Garden

There is a balcony but we were there in March.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

It was recently remodeled and everything was extremely clean and lovingly decorated. The owner, Thierry, is an artist and I guess he has a gallery in California.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bathroom is the best part of this place, very nice, cute and big for such a small place. It has an outstanding combined washer/dryer; I wanted to take it home!

Kitchen

We cooked all our meals (besides two boat trips we took along the Seine) and had everything we wanted, even jam, coffee, tea left for us.

Problems or Bonuses

No surprises. I contacted Thierry many times via emails with all my questions.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Thierry speaks and writes in English, no problem. The price was €800, and he has a great deposit policy versus many places who had a weird, terrible policy.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would recommend this place to all, including my family.

Saint-Germain des Pres -- what else could you wish for yourself!
