Location

This flat was in the Saint Germain district of Paris. Very central and a convenient walk to many attractions at 99 Rue de Seine. Close to the Metro and located in a nice area. We walked most everywhere (to the Louvre, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Orsay Museum).

Nearby Amenities

A wonderful bakery was directly across the street and the market was a block away. There were many restaurants in the nearby walking area.

The House/Apartment

This flat was in a building with several others. It was a nice layout for two people - sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and a bath. It was very clean and neat and the kitchen was well equipped. There was quite a bit of street noise at night but we were warned in advance of this.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture was modest but it was clean and neat. We were quite comfortable. The flat has a nice TV and WiFi.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bed was comfortable. There was a small bathroom with toilet only and a larger bath with a tub, sink and bidet. All were quite clean.

Kitchen

The kitchen was fine. We only cooked one meal but found everything we needed.

Problems or Bonuses

The only surprise was the street noise - even though the ad had warned us, we were not used to this so it was a minor annoyance.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Great service all the way through. The agency representative (Emmeline) was most helpful to us as we made the arrangements. We paid extra to have someone pick us up at the airport and that worked out well. They arranged for a greeter to meet us at the flat - Frederic. He spoke English and helped us to get acquainted with the flat.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, I would recommend this agency and this particular flat. This was our first trip to Paris and we speak little French so we were a bit apprehensive but everything worked out just fine.
