Location

The rental is in the beautiful village of Lourmarin in Provence.

Nearby Amenities

Within walking distance of several cafes and restaurants.

The House/Apartment

The apartment is part of a renovated village house. You enter from a pedestrian street into a courtyard. The apartment is up one flight of stairs. It is very quiet.

Garden

Shared patio.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The apartment is very charming. It was very clean and just perfect for two.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is part of the bedroom (open space), which was fine with us. There's a large tub with a hand-held shower.

Kitchen

We only made breakfast, but the kitchen was very well appointed for two.

Problems or Bonuses

It was just as nice as the pictures.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The owner was GREAT to deal with and made the experience very enjoyable.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, I would stay here again. The apartment was a bargain - very charming, clean, and nicer than a hotel room at a much lower price. As I mentioned, the owners were VERY nice to deal with. The only drawback would be for people with mobility issues as there is a small spiral staircase to the bedroom that might pose problems for some, and parking is a short walk through the village. But if those things aren't important, I can highly recommend Rent our Home in Provence. I found the rental through SlowTrav and I am glad I did.

Things to do in this area

We toured Provence, from top to bottom!! Lourmarin is a very central location for touring the area.
