Apartments in building in Canaules, Languedoc-Roussillon

Location

This was a lovely old bastide building converted into seven luxury apartments in a quiet village called Canaules in the south of France.

Nearby Amenities

Nearest grocery shop was a three minute walk and the nearest restaurant was a four minute drive.

The House/Apartment

The apartment was very big as apartments go (2bed/2bath). There were six apartments in all. The building was an 1850s Bastide building recently converted into very comfortable apartments.

Garden

Lots of outside sitting area was provided and also a huge shared pool.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The apartment was spotless on arrival and very comfortable with two couches and about 10 chairs.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were very comfortable and the en suite bathrooms were also of a high standard.

Kitchen

The kitchen was excellent, everything we needed was there.

Problems or Bonuses

A good surprise was the large wide-screen TV with lots of satellite channels (sky) and also the two bottles of wine left for us on our arrival.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We booked with La Bastide des Lavandieres. They spoke English and everything was excellent.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

We had a wonderful time and would recommend it highly.

Things to do in this area

The nearby steam train was a great day out and also visiting the nearby vineyards was a great experience.
