4bed/2bath house in Dinan, Brittany When28 April, five nights ReviewThis one-hundred year old granite house is typical of Brittany structures, but it has been updated to retain all the charm of a bygone era while incorporating all modern-day luxuries. The first floor has a spacious eat-in kitchen, living room and dining room. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a large bath while two more bedrooms are up on the third floor. (There are also a garden, half bath, and outdoor structure that houses a ping pong table.) The house is extremely well furnished and has every kitchen appliance one could imagine. The location is also good as it's a short walk to town, markets, and pastry shops. St. Malo and Mont Saint Michel are short drives away; Dinan itself is also a beautiful medieval town you'll want to explore. The owners were incredibly thoughtful and friendly and helped us on several occasions. They found the plug adapter I needed for my computer and located a shop when we got a flat tire. We hated to tell them goodbye! We paid €430 for five nights. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
