1bed/1bath apartment in 7th arrondisement, Paris WhenParis, 2 weeks ReviewI decided two years ago to give up on hotels and try renting an apartment. The first year I rented a very nice apartment from Chez Vous, but it was so expensive that I could hardly afford to venture outside. The following year, September, 2002, I rented an apartment from Paris Perfect. It is called Cabernet on their website and it was absolutely wonderful. As nice as the website is the apartment was even better. The furnishings are a perfect mix of antiques and contemporary pieces. There is an unbelievable view of the Eiffel Tower from the living dining room, and the bedroom opens on to a very quiet courtyard - so much quieter than my own bedroom at home. The neighborhood is safe and charming, and close to many wonderful shops. Madelyn and Philippe could not have been more helpful. Needless to say I am returning to Cabernet this September.
