Public Services

Tourist Office

Somewhere along this south side of the street is the tourist office. If the line isn't too long, stop in here for maps of the chateau, gardens, fountain display times.

Shops

Market Square

Open air flea - and arcade food -markets. Good for whiling away an hour until the restaurants open.

Transportation

RER Versailles Rive Gauche

If you use the train from Paris, you should arrive here. Note the RER also goes to Versailles Chantier. Don't take that one! On arrival, just follow the crowds. Street signage is adequate.
