Calabria is the toe of the boot of Italy. It is the most southern region after Sicily. This area is not well travel by tourists. I have not been to this region, but it is an area I would like to explore. I don't recommend this region for a first trip to Italy, or to someone who does not speak some English, but for a seasoned Italy traveler it would be a good region to explore.
