> SlowTrav > Italy > Instructions for Visitors > Fashion Italian Fashion - How to Tie Your ScarfPauline Kenny Some people say that I never notice fashion. And they are correct. But on this trip, I noticed how Italians tie their winter scarves. From my two weeks of observing, in Rome and Naples, I would say 50% of the population tie their scarf as follows.
This produces a very neat looking scarf that does not have long ends that blow in the wind and has two layers at the neck to keep you warm. Very sensible and fashionable. I am wearing my scarf like this - but I will not be wearing those very pointy shoes. These two Slow Travelers have their scarves tied perfectly! |
