Enjoy the pace up north surrounded by vineyards in the country.

Sergio German Ettore vineyard and B&B, photo by myself

This B&B is run by a lovely family, and sits amidst the vineyards outside the town of Serralungo d'Alba, south of Turin.

My son and I had a chance to stay there, and were quite impressed. It's situated well, so travel to nearby towns and even the bigger cities is reasonable and accessible. We loved waking in the morning to foggy views of vineyards, roosters crowing and the coolness of the humid countryside. If you want to relax, feel a little out of touch with the rat race for awhile, this is the place to visit.

Also, get a taste of the working winery, with many great wines typical of the area, including the Barolo varietal. Bellisimo!! germanoettore@germanoettore.com
