Many people love this place but we were just not too pleased. Part of it was the problem of garbage in the area.

The place itself was very nice as was the breakfast and room. A few details like the lighting were not great; 2 bare bulbs resting in light fixtures as lighting.

We walked down to the "beach" - it was not as it looked in the photos!

Basically a muddy shore. Also the everpresent problem in Sicily of folks throwing bottles, cans, car batteries, etc. almost everywhere. It's not like the whole place is buried but it's enough to make us never want to go back!

We never stayed at IL Vittorio, so technically I can't review it ... but we went to the restaurant, saw a room - stay there! Il vittorio Poto Palo de Menfi (see restaurant review)
