Call this a B&B, an Agriturismo, or a hotel, it is a great spot for a peaceful, quiet, beautiful atmosphere in the Mugnone valley.

Poggio al Sole is a small family-run farm in a tranquil setting yet is close to Fiesole, Florence, Olmo and Borgo San Lorenzo. Accessible by car or local bus (from Fiesole/Florence). The major productions at the farm are extra-virgin olive oil and saffron. Saffron is used in the many dishes of this area.

The restored barn contains three double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is an enclosed, with windows, sitting room. We loved the tranquil setting of this beautifully well kept lodging. The original farmhouse, also contains large double rooms for guests. The delicious breakfast is served in the farmhouse and the owner has fresh baked goods every morning.
