Great views, wonderful food. Very near Rome.

We were looking for a rural setting not too far from the Rome Leonardo Da Vinci Airport and came up with this agriturismo/B & B in a web search.

The farm is not too far off the road to Rieti, down a long dirt road and up a mountain. It's hard to believe that less than an hour from Rome you can sit on the top of a mountain, watch the sheep, listen to the donkeys and enjoy lovely scenery.

This is a B&B, and for a small extra cost the owners will prepare an incredible evening or lunch meal for you. We had their own rabbit, and pasta and vegetable dishes featuring goodies from their organic gardens. The owners used to run a cafe in Rome so know how to make their guests comfortable. One of the owners speaks English and Spanish as well as Italian.
