This elegant little hotel is located right smack in the best place in Ferrara - just across the piazza facing the Castello Estense.

I stayed here for the full week I was in Ferrara, and was very happy with the hotel and the location. I switched from a single to a "double for single use" as I wanted some extra space (and a bathtub) for my longish stay. The ranking is four stars.

The hotel is furnished in that Italian modern minimalist style, and everything is very cozy (although, amazingly, there was no drawer space at all in the room; not under the desk or at the bottom of the large armadio). The hotel serves a full continental breakfast with the room, and it's quite good.

There is wi-fi throughout, and those without a computer, like me, can use the internet gratis at a terminal in the small lobby. There is a small bar, and a room with chairs and couches adjoining it, making a comfortable place to sit and read. The staff was helpful, and there are a variety of parking options.
