Lovely, tranquil hotel in beautiful Anacapri. {3 star}

This lovely hotel exceeded my expectations in every way and I think was part of the reason we loved Anacapri so much. First of all, it is located 10 minutes from Piazza Vittoria; close enough for a leisurely stroll to shops and restaurants but far enough away to be very peaceful. The bus stop was only 50 meters from the hotel making travel to Capri, the Blue Grotto or Faro beaches very easy.

It is a small hotel with only 12 rooms and the guests were predominantely Italian.

The staff is pleasant and helpful, though only Vicente spoke English fluently. If he is not on duty you will need your Italian dictionary. We arrived at 11 am and were graciously shown to our very pretty double room that was spotless, spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was up a few stairs, was immaculate and modern with plenty of hot water, a good shower, fluffy towels and a hair dryer. Our room had a shared terrace, from which you could glimpse the water from the corner. We didn't need it but there was AC and a well stocked refrigerator.

Breakfast is served on the lovely outside terrace, weather permitting. The coffee was very good as was the selection of cereal, pastries, fruit and yogurt.

The best part was the great price of €98 per night. Prices range from €90-150, depending on the season. An absolute bargain for such a beautiful spot. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. The pictures on the web site are lovely but the real thing is even better! If I return to Capri - this is where I'll be staying.
