Wonderful stay in a wonderful place!

My husband and I think this place is wonderful and really relaxing. The good temperature of December allowed visits to the surroundings of Lucca without any problems.

The hotel is a really good location for visiting Florence, Pisa and Siena.

We found it through our Italian cousins who live in Vicopelago. They firstly visited the place and told us ... a really nice surprise!!

For Pisa half day is sufficient but for Florence and Siena you need all the day.

We were told about other nice locations in the north of Lucca, in particular the village of Barga. We hadnít enough time to go there but we will surely go next time we will be in this area!!

Rooms were well heated and clean and even if the restaurant was closed for the first two day of our stay, we had a very good time nearby (ask staff) and in the historical centre.

The restaurant of the hotel is excellent too and the owner has a lot of fantasy in creating special atmosphere!! Food was great! Try it! Maybe we will meet you there in November for our next Italian trip!

Wonderful 4 star hotel near Lucca! Spacious, tasteful, and charming with lovely views of countryside. Really helpful staff.

Wonderful 4 star hotel!!! Here you can feel like in heaven!!! The location is great and it has a wonderful swimming pool!

Albergo Villa Marta is located about 5 minutes from Lucca and 20 minutes from Pisa. If you prefer a quiet, countryside location rather than staying in the city, this place is perfect.

The hotel is set on a country road in the small village of San Lorenzo a Vaccoli. It has a big garden and a spacious parking place.

Breakfast in the morning is served outside in nice weather or inside. Breakfast was an ample buffet with pastries, cheeses, cereals, eggs and fresh fruits. They also have a restaurant which serves dinner, and it is absolutely wonderful. Closed on Sundays.

There is a beautiful, large swimming pool, which was wonderfully clean and really relaxant. At midday we stayed at the pool where we had light lunches.

There are rooms in the main Villa and the dependence. There are 3 different kind of rooms, classic, deluxe and superior; we stayed in a classic room and we found it very clean, large enough, and with cable tv and excellent air conditioning. There is also a minibar with cold drinks and snacks.

We stayed for 4 nights and we paid Ä145,00 per night for the classic room in high season. We felt this was a really good price for this wonderful 4 star hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really loved the location and ambiance of this hotel and would happily stay there again.
