Manarola: Arpaiu

Cinque Terre, Phone: 340.6879732

Reviewed by: Timh from GA, review #3027

When: October 2009

Very comfortable house with 4 rooms, shared sitting room and terrace and a magnificent view.

Arpaiu is a house with 4 modern and comfortable rooms tucked away on a narrow street in the town of Manarola overlooking the sea. The pictures of each room on the website are very accurate.

This house is not a B&B since the owners do not live there (they meet you with a key and to get your payment - no credit cards, but there is an ATM in Manarola).

The windows of each room open on to views of the sea, and neighboring Cinque Terre towns down the coast. The house is very quiet - the only noise is from the crashing waves down below - wonderful for sleeping!

Arpaiu has the added bonus that other room rentals do not have - that being a shared sitting room on the top floor with refrigerator to hold your Cinque Terre wine and other goodies that opens onto a lovely terrace, with the same spectaular views, outfitted with 4 lounge chairs.

Room Rates were very reasonable with longer stays rewarded with lower rates.
