A very stylish B&B in the near north of Venice, near Conegliano.

We spent just a night here, in an effort to be close to Venice in the morning. We had stayed in the Conegliano area before and appreciate how lovely those prosecco vineyard foothills can be.

This B&B is in a relatively new residential area. I don't think they get many visitors there as it's not what visitors seek in Italy, though there is great scenery just north of town. Apparently people take the train in and out of Venice - it's 45 minutes and the train station is a walk away from the B&B.

The B&B itself is the attraction. It is a large renovated and remodeled stone building in a quiet location on the edge of a neighborhood. We were glad we had iPad GPS to find it. The owner is an interior designer with a flair for combining stylish contemporary fixtures and features with stone and wood, which is a look we love.

The craftsmanship is beautiful. Our room was huge, with an open living room which was magnificent and comfortable. There was a bedroom and bathroom, which were stylish but nothing extraodinary. We admired the furniture, the fixtures, the whole look.

There is a large garden area, some sheltered terraces, and a playroom set up for children. There is lots of onsite parking. The breakfast served was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. We would certainly recommend this place if you wanted a stay in this area.
