Off the beaten track but conveniently located {3 star} B&B. Room was spacious, bathroom (shared) was spotless, hosts were gracious.

Booked this B&B through venere.com. For the price (€73/night) it's a very good deal. It's not a luxurious place but it's certainly functional and was completely satisfactory for our needs.

The room was spacious and very clean. It faced the Piazza so there was some traffic noise but we weren't affected by it. Our room was situated right next to the kitchen so breakfast preparations did wake us, but no earlier than we had wanted to get up anyway. The bed was fairly comfortable (a bit hard).

Washrooms were shared, but they were just across the hall from our room and, again, very clean. There was a full bathroom with a tub/shower and then a toilet/sink only WC. Water pressure was excellent and there was lots of hot water even on the mornings where there were other guests.

Breakfast was quite plentiful (we discovered later upon staying at other B&Bs): cereal (Corn Flakes) and milk, brewed coffee or tea, juice, individually packaged pastries (croissants) and packaged crisp toasts. Plus, there was nutella, jam, butter, and those little foil-wrapped spreadable cheese triangles.

Piazza Bologna is the terminus of Bus #62 which goes directly to St. Peter's and passes lots of sites of interest along the way. We used it extensively. For a quick ride, there is a Metro B stop on the Piazza, too (Bologna).

The B&B is its own dedicated apartment, and the hosts live across the hall in their own place. Aldo and his daughter Daniela speak excellent English and we felt well taken care of.
