This home is just what you would imagine an italian country estate to be! The owners, have turned it into a wonderful B&B, all cozy and homey.

Our last trip was only 4 days, but we could've stayed there for weeks.

Sylvana's father built this home approximately 35 years ago with the thought that his children would have their families here and never leave. Consequently, the home is very large with many bedrooms, each with its own bath. You will be very comfortable staying here as the rooms are good sized and it is kept so clean and inviting. Smoking is allowed only outside.

As you enter, you immediately feel the warmth radiating from Sylvana and her Mother as they greet you as friends and not guests! Sylvana loves to help her guests plan their days and has many suggestions for nearby restaurants and sights.

Venice is approximately 45 minutes by train - we left our car at the train station and enjoyed the ride. Also, within a short period of time you can visit the Dolomites, and Padua, (which is absolutely a wonderful place to visit - St. Anthony's Cathedral alone is worth the trip). You will need a car to get around as it is outside of the city.

We are planning a trip for April/May 2008 and have communicated with Sylvana and she is already helping us plan our itinerary. There are so many family-owned restaurants and pizzerias in the area and each one is a delight. The prices in this area are very reasonable and the people are so warm and friendly.

This is a perfect spot for a "slow traveler".
