Cute B&B located near the Grand Canal/Train Station in Venice

My husband, 15 month old and I just returned from Italy. We loved our accommodations in Venice.

It was away from the busy-ness but close enough to walk to St. Mark's Square and the Rialto, plus - we were only a short walk away from the Grand Canal, bus station and train station. The owners were extremely personable and friendly. We loved the fact that when we arrived we just carried our luggage to this B&B. Alberto and Monica and their two children met us at the front door and helped us get settled.

The room was simple but cute. This B&B has only been around for one year so everything is new. It had a mini bar/refrigerator, wonderful windows and it was in a quiet area. In the morning there was a little pastry cafe where we ate our free breakfast (pastry and espresso). Alberto made himself available to us around 9 am for questions that we had about what to do, where to eat, transportation and what not. This was extremely helpful to us.

The room was 120 euros a night and worth it. It was our little hideaway after going on tours during the day. We would stay here again!
