Our experience at Cervano Inn was better than we could have ever imagined. The facilities were exactly as described on their website. The farmhouse has been been beautifully remodeled; all furnishings, appliances, and plumbing are first rate. The location is wonderful. It is a short drive to the shores of Lake Garda, albeit on a steep and curving road, but the property is well-removed from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas below. Views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We always looked forward to returning to it after our daily adventures. The surrounding landscape is peaceful and gorgeous. We stayed there with our children, ages 7 and 10. They loved the freedom to explore on their own. The owner of the Inn was wonderful with them. Every day during our 6 day stay, he took time to show them some new animal or plant or game to be played on the property. They were captivated. In addition to entertaining our children, the owner was extremely helpful in other ways. Upon our arrival, he drove us into the local village and pointed out beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores, as well as some historic sites. He suggested wonderful restaurants each night, and made reservations for us. He educated us about the history and culture of the local area. He provided breakfast for us each day, taking requests for varied items from our children. I can't say enough about what a wonderful place this is. I have already recommended it to friends.
