Simple B&B very close to Parma; totally immersed in the countryside.

Il Ghirone is a real B&B. This family has created 4 rooms in their own farm in the plains of Emilia Romagna, a few kms away from Parma.

The place is a bit hard to find, because it is really in the middle of the wide countryside, but once you manage to get there, it is really a nice place.

The bedrooms are neat and big. And really clean. The owner is very welcoming and nice. She made a fresh apple cake for us and even home made biscuits. She let us stay until 1 p.m on the day of our departure and never once complained about us coming back home late. We were there for a couple of concerts in a local close-by.

I really recommend this B&B to all those who want to visit Parma and Reggio Emilia, and sleep in the countryside.
