We stayed in a suite at Il Seminario for three nights. Excellent B&B inn; great owner and staff. Located a block from Lucca's magnificent wall

This is a small B&B inn that is very well put-together and staffed by genuinely nice and helpful people.

It's in a mostly-residential area, just a few steps from Lucca's famous wall and an easy walk to the train station. We drove our rental car into the old city (always a challenge) and parked in a courtyard shared by the inn. Very convenient!

Breakfast was excellent, with an option to eat on an outdoor patio. The room was spacious and furnished with modern furniture. Skylights (with remote-control openers) in the bedroom and bath were a nice touch. Our suite included basic kitchen facilities, of which we only used the refrigerator. The room was air conditioned, and the bathroom was sufficiently large and nicely decorated with marble tiles. This is an excellent place to stay in Lucca!
