My brother and I spent a few nights in Sulmona in May of this year. We stayed at La Dimora B&B, and I can definitely recommend it.

The location of La Dimora is perfect, right on Corso Ovidio, the main street in the center of Sulmona. The evening passeggiata passes right by their front door. I paid 40 euros per night for a large room with an en suite bath, and my brother paid 35 euros for a smaller room with a shared bathroom in the hallway. There's free wi-fi in the breakfast room.

Oscar, the manager of La Dimora, was friendly and helpful, both by email before we arrived, and while we were in Sulmona.
