It was not easy to decide where to stay in Rome. The options seem to be infinite, both in terms of location and of actual number of lodgings advertised. Relying on the internet, I was particularly cautious. I wrote to quite a few B&Bs and little hotels and finally picked My Guest Roma. What convinced me were the various answers I received from them: comprehensive and always to the point.

When my wife and I arrived my feelings were fully confirmed. As agreed we had an early check in of which we were very grateful to the owner. The service was top notch. The staff polite and helpful. Fresh water in the room. Refrigerator, fresh fruits and vegetables to snack in the communal area and maps.

The accommodation itself was flawless. I asked and got a non- smoking room with en suite bathroom perfectly clean. The walls were painted in different colors and each piece of furniture matched and echoed those same colors. There was a LCD flatscreen TV, a minibar, safe, hairdryer, wireless internet access, and air conditioning units. The cooling of the room was perfect!

There are lots of restaurants nearby and good public transport. The Chinese restaurant just in front of the building was cheap and good.

Next time I look for an accommodation in Rome I won´t be looking for anything other than MyGuest Roma.
