A beautiful B&B just outside Lecce with beautiful gardens and nice rooms.

Villa Guiliana B&B is a beautiful spot, seemingly in the middle of nothing and nowhere and if you don't follow their excellent directions on their web site, you would go right by it!! The price was 70 euros for a double, 40 euros for a single.

We were greeted upon arrival by Andrea and his Mother. He speaks perfect English which is nice after a week of trying to manage in broken tongues. His Mother speaks no English but is very nice and you can manage with some Italian.

The room was spotless as was the bathroom and the whole place is only 3 years old. There are 6 rooms available, some with refrigerator and TV for an additional price. Ours was without because we did not need them.

Breakfast mainly consisted of some crackers and homemade jam, fruit juice, cereals and very nice homemade cakes. Andrea was always around at breakfast to chat with and he was very sweet. He was truly helpful with suggestions and ideas and always ready to help.

I would return to this B&B in an instant.

The beautiful garden with fruit trees, the delicious homemade cakes, and the proprietor's warmth & ability to speak English made this B&B a gem.

Villa Giuliana was reasonably priced at €70 a night. The hospitality of Andrea and his mother, Giuliana, made us feel right at home. It's true what they say, "You arrive as strangers, but leave as friends."
