This hotel surprised us. We were looking for a last minute place to stay near Siena in the middle of July and they had available rooms. Check-in was painless and quick. We booked a triple room for 2 adults and 1 child and got a giant bed and twin sized cot for €109 a night. The amenities in the room were cable TV, a mini-bar, a large bathroom with shower (no tub) and air conditioning. The included breakfast was ample with all the normal cold dishes, fruit, yogurt, cereals and brioches but they also had a toaster handy, scrambled eggs and bacon. The dining area was large, clean and they also had a terrace attached to the dining area. All in all, we were happy with the pricing and the value that this hotel offered. This was a nice, three star, modern, clean, economical hotel with a great location. It is off the San Marco exit on A1 going south from Florence. This means that you can get right on several highways to get to destinations in many different directions. (Arezzo, San Gimignano, Montalcino, etc.) Although close to the highway it was never-the-less very quiet and was located in an almost rural setting. The rooms were modern, clean & quiet. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was small but very clean with a (small) shower enclosure, etc. The maid service was excellent. No pool. Breakfast was very good with many things to choose from, including fresh fruit, canned fruit, different breads, cakes, cereals, cheeses, meats, etc. You had your choice of different juices, teas and - of course - coffee. There is also a restaurant on the premesis, which we did not try because we had fallen in love with a little ristorante about 4 blocks away and ate there both times we didn't eat out of town. The staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. They offer chauffeur service into town which was great for us because I was tired of driving in Italy. This hotel was a bargain at €72 a night.
